Many people by now know about the Men Of Metal, being a “stealth” advertising campaign to promote the MINI.
Interestingly, I noticed tonight when I Googled “MINI Cooper” that the R50rd web site appears near the top on the very first results page, even beating MINI2 – apparently this stealth advertising does work!

No kidding. the searchword ‘robot’ is the 3rd one for people hitting my MINI blog. Granted, that’s only about 3.5% of the hits, but as the list goes ‘mini’ ‘cooper’ ‘robot’, I’m sure that a section of the ‘mini’ and ‘cooper’ hits were in conjunction with ‘robot’…
