GBMINI is in pieces!

For Christmas, Margaret bought me a custom jigsaw puzzle, of GBMINI & other MINIs during the Coopers For Caregivers run last year. Trying to piece it together is challenging because of the scale – GBMINI is close to the camera and a single piece does not represent much of the car – the license plate is six pieces! But further back, the MINIs are smaller and one piece is almost a whole car …

I am not good at jigsaws, and did only a few pieces, but Margaret is very good and has successfully rebuilt all the MINIs:

A great gift, although I noticed that the colors have been slightly offset during printing, so there is a red “ghosting” around the more distance parts of the picture.

  1. Ian, that’s a pretty cool picture. The pavement / shadow also looks like it was pretty difficult as well.

  2. That is an awesome photograph and puzzle – Chris is right… the pavement looks like it would have been one of the hardest parts! Margaret – that was a great idea!

  3. Margaret claims the road & shadow was easy – she certainly finished that section very early on – but she is an expert jigsaw solver (unlike me!)

    You were also a useful part of the assembly process – your very identifiable hair helped us link the position of the house & cars early on!

  6. Love the jigsaw gift. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who gets ALL gifts of the Mini variety during the holidays. I’m working on a Simpsons mosaic jigsaw right now and it’s TOUGH. How many pieces was this jigsaw?
