Lunch at Fuddruckers

Back from another lunchtime gathering planned by Jared (pezboy); this one at Fuddruckers; while snow put off a couple of people we still had Jared & Susan, Joe, Ivan & Norrine, Josh, Jayson, Chris, & me. Fuddruckers offers a good range of burgers (including buffalo & ostrich!) with a nearly endless choice of condiments; and milkshakes.

While we were at lunch, GBMINI#3 switched from a black to a white roof!

The journey home was interesting, as snow was falling quite heavily now and the roads were not yet well plowed, but it did give me a good workout with GBMINI#3 on the non-runflat tires and they performed admirably. When I got home I was surprised to find the front of GBMINI#3 heavily caked in snow – I had not realized it was falling that thickly (I brushed off one headlight before thinking to take the pic):

  1. Ian, neat pics. I’m going to put some RainX on the headlight lenses (supposed to be 40F or higher) to see if it helps the road slop “slide” off.

Whalen worked great, smaller in the hand but I do like heavier “feel”.

What, no mention of me? LOL

  3. Sorry Chris! When I told Margaret who was there I included you but omitted Josh – seems there is a limit to the number my little brain can hold at one time 😉

RB, it was not very cold yesterday – there has been no issue with the door handles so far but the weather is definitely showing hints of warming up. Why even the sun has just come out 🙂

  4. Ha Ha, cheers Ian….I put a pic of GBMINI Whalen in its new home up on the MINI2 Fuddrucker’s thread….boy is that bugger cold, I think I read somewhere to go to The Gap and get an infant’s mitten, that’s in my plan!

  5. So I probably shouldn’t mention it was sunny and 80 degrees in SoCal this day should I?

Cool Pics! I still think gbmini#3 looks better with the black top.
