As well as the essential MINI websites:
MINI2 – where I spend most online MINI time, “chatting” with other MINI owners; I go here for New England activity and to help with interior & stereo stuff;
MotoringFile – best place for MINI news;
NAM (NorthAmericanMotoring) – the other big MINI forum, best for performance mod discussions;
CooperSpeed – the smaller newcomer, and about the only place to keep up with the MTH upgrade these days;
GoMotoring – an overview of most MINI websites;
… In addition there are many individual websites (like GBMINI) created & maintained more or less frequently – I maintain a list of some of them under “Other Links”:
Josh Wardell’s MINI pages – some great “how-to’s” including curing Harman Kardon buzzing door syndrome;
MINI mods by ScooterBoy – more “how-to’s” including installing the MINI alarm;
UKPYLOT – another ex-pat with regularly updates (few pics);
CooperChronicle – recent updates after a long period of silence, and another one tempted by the ’05 MINI (like UKPYLOT);
SweetDaisy – a nice website mixing MINI with non-MINI;
SIZE-XS – another half-and-half website with some great MINI pics;
TD60295TD97931 – another ’05 upgrader (who works for a MINI dealership!);
HyperBlueMINI – just found this site today … nice site but infrequently updated;
RocketBoy – very rarely updated, but a nice font;
OctaneGuys website – rarely updated but with C3, the National Motoring Database and the VacuCam, Richard probably has his hands full!
If there are any good ones I missed, let me know …

It’s not about Where you’re going… it’s HOW you got there.
Don’t forget me and my new location – http://toddsmods.com/blog.
Not updated as frequently as I’d like but a guy’s gotta make a living…
Thanks for the mention again Ian. 🙂
Funny as I was just updating my site as you posted this.
I’ve been toying with the blog format by making a MINI-specific journal on MINI2. Depending on interest I may move it to my site some day.
Good article Ian, I was actually going to do something like this next week. There are getting to be a lot of MINI blogs out there, and I think lots of people sometimes forget there are so many and stick to just a few, when there are some really great sources of info out there.
Ah, and it is good to be back in the blogging fold of things after a couple months off.
ME ME ME 😦
There is always my little site (http://dbmini.us)
Thanks Ian for the plug. Yeah, I’ve definitely got my hands full, and it’s not getting any better for me! I’ve got a couple articles in the works for the littleMINI site, including a detailed how to on installing a REMUS exhaust in a Cooper. I’ve also been planning a complete revamp of that site, but probably won’t happen until ’06. LOL.
