Thats always what happens to me just after a nice wash job on my MINI.
Hey……it never fails, even here in SoCal.
Sorry that you are having shitty weather. I won’t say what it’s like here in Altadena Ca.
But as Billy Crystal once said as Fernando Lamas, “it’s better to look mah-vel-us that to feel mah-vel-us.” Well at least for a while you did.
Must be colder up there…the snow was a lot wetter near the city – not as white.
It had to be expected. It is to get us all back for washing our cars and mounting our summer tires after the 60-degree weekend.
Never fails… Get up Saturday Morning… a good hand wash and detail, then BAM… Sunday night or Monday morning, just enough rain or snow to mess up the fresh wash. Sure enough… sunny all week driving around with spots and a dirty boot until the next Saturday morning.
REPEAT FROM BEGINNING
I can at least console myself that, unlike Josh, I only washed the car and did not wax it – since it will be “back under the knife” for roof graphic corrections soon …
Nah…it is the waxing that makes me not care so much about the elements. They just bounce off. 🙂 Hopefully the (film) photos I took today of the wonderful beaded water on my still-mirror-clean hood came out.
And on the same day I see my first 100 of the year on the temperature display in my MINI! Guess we really are at opposite corners of the country.
