I realize that many regular readers (RB, UKpylot, …) from warmer parts of the country, won’t be impressed, but I was!
(especially compared with unacceptable weather just last week!)

A question about the tach. So the redline starts just shy of 7,000 correct? Does the unlit markings starting at 5,500 light up at anytime? Is it like the BMW M3 where the redline gradually increases as the car warms up?
The redline is about 7000, yes.
The lights never change ON A PARTICULAR MINI. But supposedly some models have more lights always lit (CVT models? Diesel models?); I have not seen this.
Coming home from Cooperstown today, it was high 80s in NY and then hit 89 in Springfield…back to the 50s tomorrow I hear. But it was great fun to be able to wash the car by hand for the first time since last Oct!

And then tonight it dropped 25 degrees in one hour!!
Welcome to New England!
Looks like SoCal temps, enjoy….RB
We here in LA are supposedly getting rain on Saturday & Sunday……..But we are taking our daughter down to Rosarito Beach, Baja, for her B’Day and it is supposed to be partly sunny down there…Ian, I’ll make sure to hoist a cold Margarita or 2 for ya…RB
I haven’t seen numbers like in in about a week!
When it gets that warm, even the snow in the shadows starts to melt, right? Or, at least that’s what I’ve heard. 🙂
Had nice weather like that last weekend, and early this week. Then the colder air and rain moved in.
BTW Ian, that chrome around the tach looks really sexy in that pic! And I’m not a big fan of the chrome line interior…
