In England, Haynes Manuals for cars are the ultimate repair manual, detailing absolutely everything related to stripping down & rebuilding your car.
For every car I owned in England, the first thing I did was bought the appropriate Haynes manual (dependant on year of course, as well as make/model).
Here in USA Bentley Publishers put out a MINI manual nearly a year ago, but I was a bit disappointed with the lack of content in some areas.
Now Haynes is in the middle is disassembling a MINI in preparation for their forthcoming manual, and on the web they have put up a sequence of pictures as their project progresses:

Note they are disassembling and ’05, while Bentley had ’03s. So it is already more useful to 05 owners. Unlike Bentley though they did not also purchase an MCS.
Thats funny, the first thing I did when I got my first car in the US was to try to find a Halfords so that I could buy the Haynes Manual.
The steering wheel looks so strange on the right (to my American eyes anyway).
MiniMania has it, but I can’t find it on Amazon yet. Weird.
