  1. Yes … MINI Peabody is about 1/4 mile from the Sunoco where I normally fill with 91 (and the trip meter is the distance since last fill!)

  2. I am not sure why MINI owners or americans seem to celebrate mileage and then take photos of it. I say putting miles on your car is a bad thing!

I am going to get a limited milage policy next year I think

  3. Like MINI says, Keef, think of your odometer as an “experience-o-meter” or “smile-o-meter”. We bought our cars to drive, no? 🙂

I cracked 14k yesterday in about 8 months. I’ve probably put 200 on in the last couple of weeks just looking for a new place to live and actually moving. I’ll probably tack on close to another 750 this weekend going to the Chicago show and doing a club drive.

Ian, what’s your rattle count? 🙂

  4. “why hit 15K?” – because I love driving GBMINI; it’s just a goal I wanted to reach when I noticed last summer that I was clocking up more miles than normal.

“rattle count” – behind my head something in the rear driver side trim panel or rear seat rattles annoyingly sometimes, and there is an occasional vibration from the passenger side A pillar. Not too bad so far 😉

Huh? Not sure where you’re from but in USA we have amazing sights to go see and even if we didn’t the theme is …”Let’s Motor” which if you owned a MINI is most of if not all of the fun. Maybe you live in a area where there is nothing to see or petrol/gas is $6 a gallon.

I have a buzz every once in a while in my dash area but my ’04 is nothing like my ’02 which was a beehive of activity.

  6. Yup, it’s getting to be GBMINI 1V time, I’m thinkin’. Bold new graphics and all how will you top GB/3?
