Wind-sculpted snow

Todays “blizzard” is so far causing no issues – although I admit that if I had to drive somewhere today, I would not enjoy it at all! There is some snow around but it’s really hard to judge how much because of all the wind and its effects – while walking outside, I had snow above my knees, but in other places there is clear ground! One major effect of the wind though was to curtail my photo trip after only a minute or two (it’s FREEZING out there!)

Anyway, a few pics of GBMINI and the surrounding snow, and how it’s been sculpted by the wind:

  1. LOOK!! – ANOTHER SPY SHOT OF A 2007 MINI!!!

Man, that new “Pedestrian-Friendly” bonnet ain’t very pretty, is it!?!?

  2. Love that “pedestrian friendly” bonnet comment! That’s how it will be – a soft white “add on” to the existing car πŸ˜‰

I’ve never been tempted by a car cover; it just seems too much trouble to take it off & on all the time, and store it (where?) when it’s not in use.

  3. Ian, maybe you need one of those portable garages they sell on the late night infomercials πŸ˜‰

The news (which ran all day, annoyingly — it’s snow folks, it happens every winter!) reported you guys got hit pretty well up on Cape Ann…out here on the eastern fringes of Worcester County the new says nearly 2 feet, but I haven’t seen it my hood.

Luckily it’s a very nice light & powdery snow….tho’ the kids didn’t like it ’cause no tubing yet and no snowmen. And, so far, they still have school!

  4. I’m jealous, I’d love to see some snow. It was 86F here today and its only Feb. I might take the MINI to the ‘local’ ski slope tomorrow just so I can play in some white stuff.
