When I first checked online order tracking, the GP was classified as a BMW vehicle!
But now, the MINI USA website recognizes the GP as “one of its own” – unfortunately, it knows nothing about the car:

The website also claims the car is being shipped from Oxford, England – I suppose you could argue that it is, but via the long route of Italy š
I think they got the message. : )
I have screen caps from the BMW Owner’s Circle with all my info including the VIN and listing it as a BMW Cooper S JCW GP.
My dealer still has no info on my particular GP which is odd since I am wanting to process the paperwork and purchase the car in the next three weeks. I had hoped to have all the purchase paperwork completed by Aug.1st as was requested in our GP Monterey info. They did say to fax all the proper paperwork including sales order etc. at least two weeks prior to Aug. 18 or the car would not be shipped to Monterey so my target was Aug. 1 just to be safe.
I think my dealer is more frustrated than I am, though. They keep asking *me* for updates and information. : )
That’s a good point about the “two weeks before” clause in the MINI USA paperwork – Susan didn’t mention that in her reply to me about the Certificate of Origin š¦
you should now be able to view the details in the html of that page, even if it doesn’t display. view|page source.
Correct Nick – I can now see on MINI USA OL that the GP is a GP!
