After last weeks “patience grasshopper” nonsense reply from MINI USA to our questions about the GP, I’ve learned a little more about the USA spec car thanks to Charlie who acquired the “Order Options” and “Series Options” reports for his car.
Since all GPs are the same, this info presumably applies to every USA GP buyer …

(there is no 5AA code for rear fog lamps – so the GP isn’t getting them)

Do you think the 3AL John Cooper Works Kit covers all of the special bits we bought the car for? The suspension for example..
8SP COP CONTROL must be a new option. I wonder if it can be retrofitted? It would certainly be very useful. “These are not the droids you’re looking for…” 😉
“3AL” – probably but I don’t know for sure; we’d need someone who bought it from the factory to confirm
“COP CONTROL” – wouldn’t that be cool 😉
8SP is a standard option. CO2 control for emissions. That’s CO-2, as in carbon dioxide, rather than COP control. That one is aftermarket, not factory supplied ! 🙂
