While GPMINI was at Superior Systems getting the subwoofer upgrade, they also arranged for window tint to be applied to the sides and rear – partly for the looks, and partly to shield the stereo upgrade from casual view … The door glass is tinted to (MA legal) 50%, the rear & hatch glass a little darker …

I had tint on my 1st MCS. The Policia de Santa Barbara took care of that. I was told that no states allow anything but 20% but that must be wrong as you got higher. I know Ca don’t allow any. I loved my tint but Twisty has non.

For Massachusetts: Must allow more than 35% of light in (my 50% then complies)
For California: Must allow more than 70% of light in (so that’s probably banning all tint on the front side windows)
