After a welcome reception early this evening, MINI USA took us on a pleasant boat tour around Amsterdam … sadly it poured with rain (and lightning) throughout the trip, and the snacks were only cheese and peanuts (we missed out on great looking desserts at the reception!), but the views were wonderful:

My sister is on a plane to Amsterdam right now, to pick up her resident permit!
I haven’t been yet, but I’ve heard it’s a great city.
