… a 20,000 milestone, that is π
“Delivered” up on August 18, 2006, reached 10,000 miles in 5 months, and another 8 months to cover 10,000 more – no MINI Takes The States really reduces down the miles driven … so let’s hope for another ROAD TRIP TO END ALL ROAD TRIPS: be sure to vote for OPTION #1 on the MINI USA website!
Congrats on the mileage. Been trouble free? Any gripes? Still happy with your choice to get rid of one of you ponies in your scuderia? Looking towards the future, any wants, car wise, maybe follow George with a classic or maybe add an R56 or Clubman?
Still working on Twisties website. π¦
Congrats Ian. I think you may be the first GP to break the 20k mark.
Congratulations!
Robert,
I consider GPMINI to be trouble free – and still wonderful to own & drive π
Gripes are “par for the course”: there’s some rattles & buzzes showing up now, the tire/road noise is too loud.
Never missing GBMINI#3; thought about another MINI down the road but certainly not needed, and maybe it would end up also not being driven … main thing is that the ’07+ MINIs are lots more refined, more to Margarets liking I would guess. Still very unsure about the Clubman – I guess I have to wait till I see it!
George,
GPMINI isn’t the first to hit 20K, but it might be the first “documented” one π
