We’re vacationing in Florida for the week (near the Disney properties) … today we were passed by (and then passed) a MINI with huge wheels – certainly 19″ but maybe 20″; they were so much bigger than GPMINI’s 18″ wheels, with basically just a skin of rubber around them!
I guess it’s easier to do down here, where there won’t be winter-created potholes the size of Manhattan on your daily drives … the MINI had other mods too, including what looked like gauge pods (or speakers?) on the A pillars … maybe someone knows this MINI?
Those are some sweet rides my friend. Didn’t see any 1963 split windows.
Did we get the Big Screen in yet? 😉
Hi Ian:
Make sure you wake up at 2:28AM Tuesday morning to catch a spectacular Space Shuttle launch. Just look east, you can’t miss it!

Well … we did get up at 2:20am, but I think the clouds blocked any chance of a view of the shuttle launch … hope you saw it, Roger 🙂
It was pretty cloudy at the Cape…Feel free to check out a mobile video I took: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W25hKAbQCb8 There are much better ones out there, though. Enjoy Orlando!
So Ian, are you coming to MTTS in Miami?
If you want to see some sweet MINI rides, Miami is where is at!
