GPMINI has been parked outdoors at home, since we have no garage in Gloucester – and with an early “birds-eat-berries” season, and too many trees overhanging our driveway, she was in a sorry state today; I was actually concerned when I started trying to wash her, that she wouldn’t come clean – I had to resort to “Dawn”, hot water and somewhat-too-severe rubbing, to get the evil berry stains off her paintwork!
She looked so bad, I didn’t take any “before” pictures – but here’s some “after” ones, after both the “Dawn” wash and the “Ice” shine. As you might see, she’s not on our driveway but next door (thanks, Joanne & Earle!) – the birds were still eating and dropping while I washed, and it was a losing battle till I moved her …
So, after washing, “Ice”ing, and a little drive to recharge her battery, it was back to our driveway followed by QUICK deployment of her car cover … This is a factory outdoor GP-specific car cover – note the red mirror caps above, as well as the “GP” logo on the hood, and a cute little window at the back, so you still know who she is …
Very kool!
Maybe you could get that guy Twisty to get you GP guys some new tshirts designs… 😉
I thought the GP was only for Florida?
GPMINI is going back to Florida – it was not originally my plan to leave her down there permanently, but now … maybe!
Time for a garage!
I’ve got one – it’s just 1300 miles away!
I wonder if they have Covercraft make the car covers and brand them accordingly?
No matter, a good car cover is worth the hundred and a half or more you pay for it, especially living here in New England (and no garage for me, either)
I think you may be right about Covercraft; I remember something about them being involved.
Nice
