We headed back to our new home site today, expecting to watch the slab being poured (after preparations last week), but it turns out they poured a day early, so instead we just found the finished slab with forms already removed!

We were told that block wall construction will begin next week – stacked nearby is all the framing for the upper floor and roof (1594 is the lot number for our new home).
