Pool plans

The next (last?) major phase of building our new home is adding a pool and screened seating area; from having a pool at 8002, and talking with friends down here about what does and does not work, we had some quite specific pool design ideas – and working with Brad at Atlas Pools has given us a design that addresses everything!

Here is the design views that they provided, showing raised hot tub, waterfall and “bubbler” water jet, within a big screened-in patio:

Other nice features that Atlas Pools offer include a variable speed pump so that we can run it slower / quieter when we don’t need full flow, and a wireless remote which controls pump speed, hot tub heat, and even the LED lighting built in to the pool and hot tub!

Construction should begin this month, and I’ll surely be doing regular updates again …
