My Nan was probably the most important person in my life when I was growing up – a center of stability in a less than stable environment, along with my Grandad and Uncle Keith. Now today, she has escaped her final days of struggle, leaving us all a little lost.

So sorry to hear Ian. No mater how well we think we are prepared its never easy. My deepest sympathy.
Love the smile in her comfy chair surrounded by pictures, her phone and a remote – in touch and in control. So sorry for your loss.
May you see God’s light on the path ahead
When the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear,
Even in your hour of sorrow,
The gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness
Never turn your heart to stone,
May you always remember
when the shadows fall—
You do not walk alone.
Ian and Margaret – Carol and I send our condolences.
I remember that picture being taken. Mum at her best and how we must think of her. A really ‘nutty’ person until her illness. We will miss her like crazy.
