I took my high zoom Sony camera on my walk this morning, and took photos of the Osprey nest in Independence – with “Mrs Osprey” guarding the nest presumably while “Mr” hunts (we often see one of them overlooking the lakes, and occasionally catching or carrying a fish!)

Great to see the herons doing so well and you are really lucky to have Ospreys. We would have loved to see them when we came, but they had obviously not moved in then.
