With Margaret’s sister Kate and brother Mark, we spent some time at this north Norfolk seaside town, staying right above a fish-and-chip shop and with nice views over the harbor. We walked out (a surprisingly long way) to the beach with colorful beach huts, and we took a harbor boat trip … we did also of course eat fish and chips!
The tide is huge here, perhaps 10ft from low to high – the horse sculpture is half drowned at high tide, and high above water at low tide!

We also took a “tiny train” ride to Walsingham (and back), another “olde worlde” English village, where we had lovely lunch too!
