We’ve headed north to cooler weather and to visit the area around Lake Michigan; our first stop is Wisconsin Dells where we stayed in a nice riverside hotel, and took a boat tour – including a lovely walk through Witches Gulch … Wisconsin Dells is heavily touristy (half the businesses seemed to be water parks!) but we managed to avoid the busiest areas.
