Sagrada Familia

On our way to Egypt, we stopped overnight in Barcelona partly to make the flights easier but also so we could visit the weird Sagrada Família building – this is the Gaudi designed building that’s been under construction for nearly 150 years!

Even flying in to Barcelona, Sagrada Família is quite distinctive in the city:

We arrived in the late afternoon, staying at a hotel close by and took a walk to look at the exterior:

The next morning we returned, with tickets to be able to see the inside …

Manatees at Blue Spring State Park (again again)

We’ve had a couple of cold-for-Florida mornings and today started at 38f (4c); the Manatees swim in to warm springs in weather like this so we headed to Blue Spring State Park – where there were 500+ for us to try and see. It’s not too hard to spot the Manatees as shadows in the water, and sometimes a nose will pop up to breath, but it’s quite hard to photograph them … but this is what I captured for you (after a lot of deleting!)
