Biltmore again

We’ve visited Biltmore House in NC once before (back in 2011) and I note writing back then that photos inside the house weren’t allowed – well I certainly took a lot of interior photos on this visit and no-one told me off!

We spent about five hours in total, walking through the huge house interior and also a lot of the grounds including the conservatory – as you can see it’s a bit early in the year for the gardens but it’s still lovely (I do however struggle with the almost $90/person cost!) …

X6 preview

We will be getting delivery of my new car this week and tonight the “gallery” in the “My BMW” app opened up with computer generated previews! Until now, right back from when I received my production number back in January, the “gallery” has been filled with “covered up” images, like this one:

But suddenly tonight when I checked, the images had been “uncovered” …

There was also a “drone walkaround” simulation which sadly wasn’t downloadable; I screen-recorded it which is fine other than the || pause symbol present throughout …

Goodbye X3

In preparation for my new car, today we headed over to Fields BMW and completed paperwork for the purchase, including trading in my current BMW X3 (which is almost 7 years old, and 35,000 miles); here’s some “goodbye” photos of my X3 – which is the best car I’ve ever owned, and still wonderfully good to drive, but it’s time for hopefully an even better next drive!
