Independence Day, we walked into town for the mornings All American Kids Parade here in Winter Garden – a well attended event with many families, kids on bikes, scooters, etc all decorated for the holiday; they walk through downtown in both directions and it’s fun and impressive how much work some have put into their decorations! Today we drove our guests down to (and through!) Wild Florida; we did the airboat ride, walked the small animal zoo, drove twice around the (now extended!) safari drive – and also fed the giraffes. Here’s LOTS of photos:
When we lived down of route 192 we often visited Celebration and walked around the lakes – but now it’s about 40 minutes drive so we don’t go much (we go to close Oakland Nature Preserve instead!); but today we took a trip down there and saw lots of birds:
