Cold (-5f)!
Cold but GBMINI still runs
It is very very cold here in New England at the moment. Today was the first day that Margaret and I have ever seen a negative fahrenheit temperature: -1f is -18c which is not pleasant!
GBMINI started fine this morning but is definitely affected by the cold: the gear box is very stiff, and in combination with the freezing cold metal capped gear shift knob it made changing gears more challenging than normal. Also, there was very little bass from the stereo system, presumably due to the speakers stiffening up in the cold weather.
But I had left my camera in the car and it hated the cold even more – it would not work at all! I had to wait till I was in work to take this picture …

I finally got around to putting my “www.MINI2.com” sticker on the back window of GBMINI today … I put it up as high as possible to minimize the chance of it affecting the rear view – pretty happy with the results:
You can buy these stickers from MINI2 for less than $3; be warned however that I had to place three orders before I got mine – it seems that the English postal service does not want to ship MINI2 stickers to me!
