Windshield chipped

Finally remembered to take pictures of the WINDSCREEN CHIP I picked up on the recent MAMA drive last weekend … my first chip, perhaps because I normally try to stay well back from the car in front, but on the rally we were all trying to keep close together!
There were two loud bangs during the day, with a stone flying up and hitting the windscreen – both left chips, and one in particular is a noticeable 1/4″ notch. I might find out about having it filled. At least the screen did not crack, but it is a bit surprising that it even chipped as we were not driving at highway speeds …

MAMA event in Keene

Back from the first MAMA event, a loop covering about 90 miles in total, honored with wonderful fall weather and lots of fall colors in the trees. I totalled 336 miles door-to-door today, from meeting Keith, Diane, Eliot and Joe at the Mall Of New Hampshire, gathering with everyone in Keene, stopping in Stoddard, driving towards Walpole, and finally returning for food at the Rynborn in Keene …

GBMINI rear fogs activated!

I have my rear fog lights activated!
The dealership does the normal programming thing with their “yellow box”; after programming, this is the new BC1 coding – note the “1” before the 7 … seems they added a brand new flag just for USA rear fogs!

WARNING: the car/key memory settings are all lost (as well as the odometer trip), so make sure to have your settings checked afterwards (my car auto-locked its doors after the upgrade!)

Both bulbs turn on, as well as the yellow switch tip – but they are interlocked so that they only come on with headlights, or with sidelights AND front foglights:

Thank you MINI Peabody, especially Kevin and Gary.
