Replacement Windshield

Many thanks to MINI of Peabody – especially Dave who did the installation of my new windshield yesterday, and who also solved the problem with my seat belt getting wet after I washed the car (due to a factory-damaged door seal).

A MINI looks shocking with no windshield – much better with a new windshield installed:

How glad I am to have a great local dealership, that carries stock of parts needed and has excellent techs to do the work πŸ™‚

MAMA smells the tulips

The trip to Smith college spring flower show (organized by MAMA) turned out to be a great excuse to get together with MINI owners! Sunday morning we all met at Theo & Carols house, where they provided coffee & food:

We then headed into Northampton (great town!) to the bulb show, loading up one parking lot with MINIs (and waving to a couple more MINIs that happened to be there too).Β The show is held in some beautiful old greenhouses, and there were lovely flowers and plants throughout!

Thanks to Theo & Carol for their hospitality, and to MAMA for the event!

Stress Crack!

I always thought I was immune to this common-on-some-MINIs problem, never having suffered with GBMINI#1 or GBMINI#2 and (until now) GBMINI#3 – just a few months away from four years of MINI driving, but it was not to be 😦

I’ve seen them changed at MINI Peabody, but now I will get to see one changed on my MINI …
