Santa Fe

Got to Santa Fe despite the Garmin!!!! Gad what a stupid device.

Big 4th celebration going on. Went to Coyote Cafe had a cerveza and some guacamole met some nice folks from Kansas City Kansas on the balcony upstairs.

Another great drive in the GP.

Too bad Garmin doesn’t know where the heck Santa Fe is. Ended up in a small town called Madrid, cutesy artsy fartsy little town in the back hill area around Santa Fe but the wrong way from Santa Fe. My range was down to 12 miles. Got directions from some old hippie chick there, the 8 mile back track to the only petrol station in the area left me with one very empty tank of petrol!

I needed one of those antique things called a map. iPhone was useless in this area so no help with Google maps once I realized I was lost.

But here now in my room relaxing before heading out into the plaza again. It’s hot here, in the 80s.

Bad Roads

And I thought Louisianna had bad roads. Try and get a pic with your iPhone on a ruff road, at 80 mph, not easy.

I see there have been some misspellings and odd things on some of these posts. Try motoring for 10-15 hours a day and I’m an old fart. Not complaining though….:-) the motoring is what I like the rest is just fluff.
