Friday afternoon at Mickey & MINI, people arrive, meet and chat – and there’s a “popular choice” best car vote going on; in the evening, after the Hotel’s Happy Hour, is dinner and slideshow entertainment … I joined the group, met old and new friends, and took pictures!

Someone was talking to me just this morning about the MINI event – and at one point I said “No, MINI owners rarely look under the hood” … and apparently I’m wrong, at least at M&M (never seen this at MINIsOnTop!):

I think this should be a new dictionary word, for when MINIs are used to their full capacity!

For example, transporting a 42″ Flat Panel Plasma TV; AND a suitable TV / media stand for it!

Yes, we had to slide the seats forward – but remember also that GPMINI has a subwoofer install in there underneath somewhere! And the rear hatch did close fully …

Boone Hall Plantation

After visiting Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston, SC, we drove the final 400 miles back to GPMINI’s “winter home” – now she needs a good wash (and a couple more runflat tires, to complete the set)! The approximately 90 Oak trees along this entry drive to Boone Hall make for an impressive view 🙂
