Todays drive was short – only a little over 200 miles – and it went by quickly … especially so when I was passed by three GPs being driven by Fireball Tim & his colleagues! I decided to tag along with them for a while to make the trip more fun – which worked 🙂
MINIs gathering at the Memphis departure point:
After checking in and showering, I went out for a walk around Memphis – proper sidewalks and not in a construction zone so a very nice walk (although there was a significant police/security presence in some areas and MINI owners commented about not leaving their car alone in some places!)
And I found MINIs – lots of them lined up on Beale St (a classic one as well!):
Back at the hotel, I enjoyed good food and the pleasant company & conversation of Gary Anderson, MC2 Magazine editor; and I took this photo 🙂
