MINI Takes The States
In the night, I realized that Cadillac Ranch is just a few miles away, so headed out this morning to take pics – it was quite dark with sunrise still 20 minutes away, but I got some nice pictures anyway (used the camera flash quite a lot!):
Emily / StoopidGirl is doing excellent work writing a daily column over at MotorTrend and told me today that I was featured in one of her pics – or at least, my back was 😉

This evening MINI Takes The States offered an open-air (not drive-in) movie in Palo Dura Canyon State Park – but many MTTS’ers were just too tired from todays drives to attend; instead of up to 500 people there were perhaps 100 …
But those that came got to visit a great canyon with some interesting entry roads …
We watched the adverts – MINI adverts of course (the classic Bulldog one, the soda-exploding one, and a couple of others) … more MINI adverts would have been great but they decided to show the main movie instead, so we left!
