Tonight was again spent pleasantly with MINI friends at a great ice cream location – this one had heaps of history too, having been opened in the early 1950s! You can either drive up to a stand and order ice cream by phone, which is then brought out to you, or you can sit inside and still order by phone (although it’s a bit strange when you realize the girl taking the order is standing just a few feet away!)
There was a lot of ice cream consumed by MINI folk tonight!

TGICR day 3 – the Amazing Blue Ridge Parkway
This was the best day so far, by far – the Parkway is beautiful both in scenery terms and with the twisties, and it was quiet so we rarely got stuck behind anything. The road was so great that driving at the 45 mph speed limit still was very enjoyable! Ice cream lunch was incredibly good too 🙂
