Fly to England via MINI of Peabody!

I’ve now got the MINIsOnTop 2007 raffle tickets for the amazing MINI of Peabody “Trip To England”:

This prize, donated by MINI of Peabody, can be won by purchasing one of 250 raffle tickets, cost $25 each – the raffle draw will occur at the base of Mount Washington during MOT2007 on June 16th (you do not need to be present to win!)

The prize includes:
* Round trip air for two from Boston to London
* 3 nights accommodations at a first-class London Hotel
* Private chauffeured car transfer to and from Oxford England and the Mini Manufacturing Facility (Oxford is approximately 60 miles from London)
* 1/2 day city tour of London
* Theatre tickets to a West End Show

All proceeds raised by this raffle will go to the MOT2007 charity Rosie’s Place.
Tickets will be available from MINI of Peabody.

Happy Birthday Joe

Yesterday afternoon we headed south of Boston, invited to Joes 50th birthday “surprise” (which wasn’t such a surprise apparently). His many friends & family gave a huge array of hilarious gifts, some only for adult company (the “crotch brush”, and the “Sex over 50” book which was blank inside)!
Deb presented a collection of themed gifts, including a “grippy” steering wheel cover (with velcro and matching gloves), “old geezer” flat cap, and super-dark wrap-around glasses (please folks, don’t anyone be offended!)
Other gifts included Vodka(!), and a “lucky ducky” shirt – to be worn on the BABE rally!


Also, head over to MINI2 and commiserate with Steve (“Cape Cod MINI”) who’s new R56 died on him yesterday, leaving him late to Joes birthday, stuck in an SUV!

What MINIsOnTop is all about

Did you register for MINIsOnTop? You have to mail your registration by tomorrow! It’s too late now to sign up for the drive to the top of Mount Washington at the end of the day – but there’s loads of other fun to be had with over 200 MINIs and their enthusiastic owners / partners / families …
