I was greeted this morning with new decorations for GPMINI, thanks to a mystery man(!); I was amused that the “perps” ran out of tape – and gave my MINIsOnTop antenna ball a cute “hat” 🙂
(sadly, the ball lost it’s hat during my drive home!)
I think this might have been the best drive up the Mount Washington Auto Road – the weather stayed dry but occasional fog rolled through to make things interesting; some clear road to enjoy the drive up, and when I met other slower MINIs I just stopped, and took pictures for a few minutes!
On top, we had clouds, but they cleared for a while to show us both the sun and a rainbow – a great day 🙂
Driving up:
MINIs On Top!
Ducks On Top:
And a chance of a sunset:
MINI at the end of the rainbow, and MINI and destination (the base of the auto road in the distance!):
The clouds return, and it’s time to descend:
Our only seriously wet weather occurred this afternoon as we were setting up in the tent at the base of Mount Washington – but it cleared before it caused any real trouble, and we had a great fun time, as always – and this year’s new Pulled Pork was excellent 🙂
Door prizes in boots (thanks, Peter, for camera-work!)
Our Golden MC under the tent (wonderful work, Michael!), and prize presentations including to Susan, winner of the Herb Chambers MINI Cooper lease, presented by Mark Ravin …
MINIs ready to head up the mountain, or MINIs at the end of the rainbow!
