From Motoring Badges by Todd …
Another fridge trophy 🙂
With much thanks to New Country MINI, everyone got together to enjoy a super spread of ice cream and toppings – loads of toppings!
We also had our first chance to browse MINIsOnTop 2010 items for sale – including nice magnetic badges from Motoring Badges which sold out (lucky I grabbed one early!), with Richard and Sarah doing a wonderful job where I’ve stood for the past few years, behind the sales tables …
This gave me the chance with Margaret to join Theo and Carol in a Trivia Night team – very challengingly presented by Ivan and Catherine, and the Cape Cod MINIs (this year Libby & Bill could not make MINIsOnTop); the Trivia Night was well supported, more than 20 teams and over $400 raised thanks to the eventual winners donating their prize back in to the charity pot!
A while after Margaret and I arrived at Attitash and grabbed some pool time, other MINIs started arriving too …
We met up with Theo and Carol, and then decided to head out to Wildcat Mountain. Marie Catherine has loaned me her MINI convertible for the weekend, and with spectacular weather we all piled in for the drive:
Wildcat Mountain took about 20 degrees off the temperature as we rode up in the gondola, but gave great views of the White Mountains (and some still had white – snow!):
This mountain Mount Washington, you can see the summit with weather station and antenna towers on the left, some snow in the middle, and a thin strip of the Mount Washington auto road on the right.
