A very sad day for us, but we didn’t want to leave Bridget struggling more and more to live every day. Over the last couple of days, she’s shockingly thin / light, given up eating or doing basically anything except looking for places to keep warm – her heated bed, or leaning over a baseboard radiator …
We will miss you, Bridget. You were a good girl!
With yesterdays near 60 degree weather, and today’s not-quite-so-warm-but-still-Sunny day, we think Spring might be coming (of course tomorrow it’s going to snow again!) … Bridget ventured outside for quite a while, enjoying the warm Sun:
She’s spends almost all her time now in this heated bed in our bedroom (where we keep the heat on constant 70 for her, day and night).
She continues to be snuffly and sneezy, and eats only a tiny amount of food each day – but she still seems comfortable, and heads upstairs sometimes to see if there’s any sunshine to enjoy; we can’t really do more than we are doing for her …
