Cats

Our weather this year started with lots of rain and warm-but-not-too-hot days, and the plants did very well; but recently it’s got very dry, and the grass and plants are now suffering! The problem with grass here in New England is it needs to survive high 90s in the summer, and then near zeroes in the winter (-20c to 35c!); I don’t think such grass exists … makes you wonder why people have lawns here! Anyway, some plants are still doing OK:

 

And Bridgette and the fish are happy:

 

Bridgette sits outside early one morning, watching the world (and neighbouring pets) go by … she likes the warmer/lighter weather and spends much more time outside than she does in the winter! Just like us, really 🙂
