Margaret and I are spending time between Christmas and New Years down in Florida, near Walt Disney World. A lot of time is being spent driving around … but this afternoon we had time to play Mini Golf, and I took Margaret to Disney’s Winter Summer Land (that I’d seen when here for Mickey & MINI)
There are two identical “course” layouts, one themed in summertime, and one in winter – of course, playing the winter course with mock snow & ice, when it’s hot hot hot, is the better choice 🙂
Before leaving the Disney / Orlando area yesterday, we played Fantasia Mini Golf (Margaret won); then some final shopping at the Downtown Disney stores:
Last full day in the Orlando area, so we hit the last Disney park, Animal Kingdom …
In the distance, the new Mount Everest (and the roller coaster ride inside it) dominates the sky …Â Only Margaret braved this ride – and only once!
There are also lots of animals in Animal Kingdom (!); and a bird show:
We finished our last day near Disney at La Nouba, the fabulous Cirque Du Soleil show – but no pictures allowed there!
