Bridgewater panorama

A few years ago, our home was grass or trees; and in the coming soon next phase of Independence construction, the cleared but empty land across from the end of our road will soon be houses and townhouses – indeed the first three townhouse blocks have begun construction at the far side.
So before it’s impossible to see the weather, blocked by houses, here’s a view:

Maybe I should remember to take this view again, a year from now!

So much rain!

Florida gets lots of rain in the summer, as moisture laden air from the Atlantic or Gulf meets – often in the center of Florida, and near to us. We’ve seen an inch or two added to the pool but now this week, we’ve had more than three inches and even after Margaret emptied some last night, the water now has reached the rim which I guess is as high as it can go!

Here was yesterday which added a couple of inches:

And now this evening, as high as it can fill!

Impressive!
