Later this morning, when the mist had cleared, I took a few more, that better show the owl (no idea yet whether there are any young in the nest):

It’s unusual to have a big storm here in Florida in the “winter”, but we had one yesterday and it added at least 3″ to the pool – bringing it right to the brim!
