For yesterday’s flight home, I got a (rear facing) window seat – and now that we’re allowed to use “electronic devices” throughout the flight, I was able to take photos during take-off and landing. So a nice comparison of England and Florida landscapes:
And with that, my England trip is complete.
On my daily walks I’ve seen lots of decorated-for-Halloween homes nearby; here’s some photo highlights. This is one of the earliest to be decorated, and they’ve been adding more since I took this picture:
I thought this one was scariest – the window image is actually a video of shadow zombies walking past and then struggling at the window to escape (at least, I hope it’s a video!):
The most amazing one is this two level zombie apartment constructed in front of the owners garage – and complete with graveyard!
With the cooler, less humid, weather, my morning walk is offering spectacularly clear skies, star filled to begin with and then the color of a rising sun. Here’s a sequence of three pictures from this morning; in the first you can see a “shadow beam” across the sky, from a cloud below the horizon:
