Generally we get late afternoon / evening rain, once the sun has ramped up the humidity and breezes from Atlantic and Gulf water meet over Florida – but this morning there was booming thunder and approaching rain to the west while the sun rose in the east. It did draw a nice rainbow:
This afternoon’s storm rolled through with a few minutes of strong winds and heavy rain, but as it all clears out this evening we’re left once again with a spectacular sunset!
A second bonus of my too early morning walk today, is that I again saw the Armadillo foraging for it’s breakfast – and this time it came very close to me (I stood quite still and apparently became invisible!), and I had my zoom lens camera so was able to take some great video:
