Well, we’ve finally “finished” our Atlas Pools project, with today finally getting the last permit signoff (electrical, which decided last week that they wanted something changed)!
All we have to do now is enjoy it 🙂

Viewing clouds at the ocean?!
As the sun set tonight, we had fabulous distant cloud views – one cloud bank was lit by the sunset further to the west, while a second cloud bank towered into the sky;Â I assume I’m not the only person that thinks “face in the cloud”:

The amazing thing is that it seems these cloud formations were out over the Gulf, west of Florida – after the sun had set we saw regular lightning in the distance at the same position as the cloud “tower”, and Accuweather pinpointed the nearest lightning at 75 miles away! In the same direction, so I think it’s correct – you can see a long way in (flat) Florida!
Car Masters at Downtown Disney
We headed over to Downtown Disney this morning, to check out Car Masters Weekend; even getting there before 11am the parking was crazy – the new parking garages remain a long time in the future and leave chaos meanwhile!
But once we were parked, the cars were fun to see – both favorites from the Cars movies, and real life American classics – and a few quite modern cars, too!
