Summer in Florida experiences basically daily afternoon or evening storms, as the wet air rolls in from the Gulf of Mexico to the west, and the Atlantic to the east, then meets in the center. Living now in about the center of the tall thin state means the meeting and subsequent storms surround us a bit west, a bit east, or over us.
Today as the storm cleared, I took a sunset picture:
Landscaped pool
We’ve finally reached about the end of our new home and pool/deck addition, with the ground around now landscaped with new plants and grass, courtesy of Prestigious Landscaping …
A hot Hot Tub
Getting ever closer to the end of the pool construction project, today we got the gas connected to the heater – confirmed because it successfully brought the hot tub temperature up to over 100f in maybe 20 minutes! We also finally have the wireless remote (held “ransom” by Atlas Pools till every penny of the contract has been paid). so we can control the pool and hot tub – and see it’s temperature!
