Just like last year the Christmas Parade follows last nights tree lighting – but this year I walked from home, and also walked “in reverse” along the parade route which I think gives a better photo-story of downtown! Here’s pictures, and at the end is a video version too …

Today Margaret and I visited Disney Springs (much is surprisingly much further from our new home) to take a walk through their annual Christmas Tree Trail; all the trees are themed on one of the Disney/Pixar movies / characters, and the details on many trees are very appropriate. Time for our annual visit to the Avian Reconditioning Center and their annual fund raising Fall Festival – of course my focus is on the owls, but there’s lots of other photo opportunities with eagles and other birds of prey! As always, loads of photos, including Great Horned Owl close-ups, and a Bald Eagle posing with the US flag!
