I’ve finally switched back to an iPhone with corresponding massive improvements in photo quality – here’s a few examples from this morning at work, with rain beautifully on the bushes and plants …

The new curtains
We ordered new curtains (drapes) for our living room last year and they were fitted a few weeks ago – but only now do I see them since we’ve been in Florida … We chose rich red/gold colors in heavy material, and they look as wonderful as we had hoped they would:
We still need some tie-backs, and Margaret won’t see them for another month, but our new Gloucester living room is slowly getting close to finished!
Whiter than Florida
All of winter 2011/12, Gloucester has seen just about zero snow, but the weekend I pop back for work, we get at least 2″ to “welcome” me …
No ice on the pond, and no ice on Goose Cove reservoir either – just snow on the rocks!
