Past mid December, almost “true” winter, and still there’s only a hint of ice on the fish pond, just a light coat where the waterfall runs in the summer. The water is COLD of course and the fish are “hibernating”:
But it’s much milder than last year!

It’s still strangely warm weather, and Moths are still excitedly out and about wherever it is light! Rained all day today also, and so our slightly sheltered porch light is a Moth haven; Chloe likes the Moths – more so when they fly …
Our new couch just arrived – and we’re immediately heading away for a week so no chance to sit on it yet, but it looks good. So now except for the curtains, we are finished in the new living room:
