Today we had an over-the-top taste of summer, with the temperature hitting 100 degrees!

May was so full of wet weather so this last weekends hot & sunny weather was very welcome – I took time to properly wash my new MINI, and Margaret spent time preparing & staining the various decks. Then I took some photos:
Outside Pat & Daves bedroom window, a family of American Robins are nesting in a Rhododendron bush:
American Robins are just like English Blackbirds, except in color! they are the same size, and behave the same and have the same calls – but they have the bright red breast reminiscent of the (much smaller) English Robin.
