We’ve seen the top of the big rock in Goose Cove Reservoir lots of times, and sometimes even lower down – but today with Margaret we walked to the rock, so I was able to take a picture of the rock with Margaret, to give an idea of it’s size!
As you can see, Margaret (and the Babson Boulder “29”) are below the water line when the reservoir is full …
A great new soft-serve ice-cream place in Gloucester, called Igloo; the soft-serve is really creamy and you can add one or more of perhaps 20 flavors, which run around the outside of the ice-cream … and there’s a really cool penguin mural too!
Perfect in the super hot Summer we’re having this year 🙂
We have had a few pretty warm days recently – a hot Summer really – and right now at almost 10 o’clock at night, it’s still 84 degrees outside (and a but warmer too indoors); days like this, we’d be better off in Florida where the house is air-conditioned! Or maybe going back to work …
What’s crazy is to look at the England temperatures – highs only in the 50s a couple days next week, in Newcastle (and not much higher in London); overnight 80s might be a little too high, but it’s better than cold days in Summertime …
